Flexible route planning
The route shown is a suggestion based on optimal conditions. The final route is decided daily by the crew together with the skipper - depending on weather, wind, crew wishes and current conditions. This makes every trip an individual adventure!
Day 1
Everyone will be there on Saturday afternoon between 2 and 4 p.m. Some of your fellow sailors arrived a day earlier. Today, you will prepare for your sailing vacation together. This includes buying groceries at the supermarket. You will set off with part of the crew. In the afternoon after 5 p.m., you will move onto the yacht and assign the cabins. In the evening, you will meet for a small get-together dinner in a restaurant. In the Caribbean, it is possible to board the yacht on the day of arrival, but the technical check-in always takes place the following morning. Therefore, departure before 12:00 noon on the following day (on our trips on Sundays) is usually not possible.
Day 2
You can hardly wait to cast off for your first destination, Marigot Bay in St. Lucia. Here, you can enjoy a perfect sunset every evening. The location became famous when it was used as a filming location for Dr. Dolittle in the 1960s.
Day 3
Every day is different. Today, we continue south on our sailing route to Port Vieux Fort. Here, there is a unique fish market with fresh fish at reasonable prices. If we want, we can also visit the small island of Maria Island. But be careful, it is a nature reserve, so we must not leave any traces behind.
Day 4
Sailing in the Caribbean feels great. As a beginner, you will now gain your first sailing experience with the Caribbean wind. From a distance, you can see the 1,467-meter-high volcano with its forested slopes on St. Vincent. You will anchor in the Blue Lagoon, a sheltered and beautiful bay on the south side of the island.
Day 5
Today you will sail to the Tobago Cays archipelago. Five islands lie like green spots with white edges in the turquoise water. Wherever you look, there are turtles and exotic fish everywhere. You will anchor in the lagoon between the islands. A coral reef keeps the waves from the Atlantic at bay. This is one of the reasons why the lagoon inside is so well suited for anchoring, swimming, and snorkeling.
Day 6
Union Island, Clifton Bay, and Clifton Harbor are on your itinerary. The trip takes about two and a half hours. The yacht is safely anchored. Now you can decide: take a walk on the island to the lookout point and enjoy the view over the bay, or jump into the water and then doze off on deck? These are questions that arise on your Caribbean sailing trip.
Day 7
Sailing in the Caribbean takes you to a different beautiful island every day. Today to the dreamlike island of Carriacou, Grenada's sister island. This gem in the Lesser Antilles is known for its coral reefs and shallow, clear waters. Absolutely picture-perfect! As soon as you approach the island, you will see that the familiar images on the postcards do not lie.
Day 8
You can add another beautiful day of sailing to your logbook. On the eighth day, you will continue via Clifton and Union Island to the Tobago Cays. A day full of new impressions awaits you.
Day 9
Once again, you sail to the paradise-like Tobago Cays. Once again, you enjoy the beautiful lagoon between the uninhabited islands, snorkel with colorful fish among the reefs, swim, dream, relax. You just have to watch out for the current a little, says your skipper. A walk on the beach? Sounds good. You want to try it right away and see what it feels like to be on a deserted island.
Day 10
Well, well. Today, your sailing trip will even take you past Mick Jagger's house. So let's head to Mustique, a jet-set island covering around six square kilometers. It is privately owned. Because it offers luxury and seclusion, it is a popular destination for celebrities. In addition to Mick Jagger, Bryan Adams, Tommy Hilfiger, Princess Margaret, and many others have visited this island.
Day 11
Bequia, you know, the "Island of Clouds." You drop anchor in Admiralty Bay, the bay in front of the capital Port Elizabeth. There are sights everywhere. Would you like to visit the whaling museum? It's well worth a visit, as Bequia was once an important whaling location. You can also head to the east side of the island and visit the Old Hegg Turtle Sanctuary.
Day 12
St. Vincent offers you many opportunities to tailor your day to your individual preferences. Perhaps you would like to visit the botanical gardens in Kingstown or the fort? Or go on a longer hike? The Vermont Nature Trail, for example, leads through the rainforest, which is home to exotic birds. Or would you prefer to lie on the beach and enjoy the sea from your deck chair with a cocktail in your hand?
Day 13
Your sailing trip will show you much of the Caribbean island world. And sailing in the Caribbean can truly be called sailing: you only need to use the motor when you are looking for a place to anchor. This allows you to enjoy the trip to the fullest while listening to the sound of the waves. There is one more stop today. If you want, you can dive into the nightlife and experience the hot Caribbean rhythms in the bars.
Day 14
Your Caribbean sailing trip is coming to an end. However, you don't let feelings of departure distract you and continue to enjoy the beautiful nature to the fullest. On deck, you can hear birds chirping from all sides and enjoy their company until it's time to set sail. You sail towards Martinique and stop for a swim at lunchtime. The sun shines until late in the evening and you watch it disappear on the horizon.
Day 15
Your dream vacation in paradise, your sailing trip in the Caribbean, has come to an end: you must leave the yacht by 9:00 a.m. and begin your journey home.
