Sailing on the Amalfi Coast

A sailing vacation on the Amalfi Coast is a journey for all the senses. We usually start near Naples (e.g. Procida or Salerno) and explore the Gulf of Naples and the Amalfi Coast. The area offers a perfect mix of island hopping and coastal sailing. The winds are usually moderate in summer, which makes the trip very relaxed. During the day we anchor in bays off Ischia or Capri for a swim, in the afternoon we moor in small harbors or use water cabs to explore the famous coastal towns. The view of the steep cliffs of Positano or Amalfi from the water is breathtaking and can only be experienced by boat.

This cruise is full of icons: Capri with its Blue Grotto is world-famous. On Ischia, you can bathe in hot thermal springs that flow directly into the sea or visit the imposing Castello Aragonese. Procida, the little sister, enchants with its authentic charm and the most colorful houses in Italy. On the Amalfi Coast itself, the journey is the reward: the trip along the steep coastal road is often stressful on land, but a pure pleasure from the water. Positano and Amalfi invite you to stroll and store. In culinary terms, you are in heaven here: pizza was invented in Naples, buffalo mozzarella is legendary and the lemons for limoncello grow directly on the hillsides.
